After announcing that WhatsApp was rolling out the ability to create polls on WhatsApp beta for Windows, WhatsApp is now releasing this feature to everyone on the latest WhatsApp Desktop update., wrote WABetaInfo.
Following a Facebook statement by Mark Zuckerberg, all users of WhatsApp for iOS and Android now have access to the ability to create polls. Within a few weeks following that official announcement, the functionality was gradually made available to all mobile users, but it still needed to be made available to all desktop users. Since everyone using the most recent version of WhatsApp Desktop may now create polls, it appears that the rollout has expanded since the capability was first made available on WhatsApp beta for Windows two days ago.
Within an individual or group chat, you may make a poll just like on WhatsApp for Android and iOS, and you can add up to 12 options after inputting your question. When a respondent selects an option in your poll, you may view the most popular response by opening the poll information. As always, end-to-end encryption ensures that no one, even WhatsApp, can access the content of a poll. Only the people you share the poll with can see it.
It was announced that polls for WhatsApp will be available on WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and Windows. But it is now finally released to everyone after the last rollout on the most updated version of WhatsApp Desktop.
