Lightyear

If you’re a fan of Buzz the young astronaut, this movie is for you. Lightyear is a 2022 American computer-animated science fiction action-adventure film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film is a spin-off of the Toy Story film series and the fifth overall installment in the franchise. It features the character Buzz Lightyear, but it does not take place within the same fictional universe as the main Toy Story films, where Buzz Lightyear is a plastic toy; instead, it is billed as a film the characters within the main Toy Story universe have watched, in which Lightyear is a human “space ranger”. The movie is now on Disney+Hotstar.

Kaduva

Kaduva (transl. Tiger) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language masala film directed by Shaji Kailas and written by Jinu V. Abraham. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the title role, along with Vivek Oberoi and Samyuktha Menon. The film was jointly produced by Supriya Menon of Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen of Magic Frames, with the latter also serving as distributor. Jakes Bejoy composed the film’s original songs and background score. Its now streaming on Prime Video.

Crash Course

Crash Course is a show where the series centers on the fierce competition between two massive coaching institutes in Kota (Rajasthan), as well as the consequences on the lives of the students who come to study there. The show is streaming on Prime Video.

Darlings

Darlings is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language black comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Jasmeet K. Reen, in her directorial debut, from a screenplay by Parveez Sheikh, and produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt (in her debut production), and Gaurav Verma under the banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film stars Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles. It was released on Netflix, on 5 August 2022.
