WhatsApp and its updates are a never-ending story. Some of them are user friendly while others are not loved by everyone. The latest update by WhatsApp is in process and might be a easy one for its users. WhatsApp plans to let people leave the groups silently.

As per Wabetainfo, When you want to exit a WhatsApp group, other people won’t be notified in the chat. Only group admins will be able to see who exits the group, but others don’t. What does it mean? When you exit a group, WhatsApp normally adds a system message in the chat to inform all participants that you exited the group: this information will only show up to group admins in the future. Group admins should always be notified about what happens in their groups, so it is needed to show them who exited a group.

In another update, it is found that WhatsApp is planning to offer the ability to create a custom vanity link for their accounts. Potential customers would tap on or otherwise access the link and be able to fire up a chat with the subscribed Business account. The URLs would follow the wa.me/<business-name> format, making them an ideal addition to your business’s site contact page.

WhatsApp is also working on adding the ability to include rich link previews in status updates. Another report by WABetaInfo reports that the latest beta versions of the app generate rich previews for links when they are shared in a status update.

The paid feature will be exclusive to WhatsApp Business accounts and optional even at that. There’s nothing that points toward WhatsApp Business as a whole being paywalled in the near future, so shop owners can use that.

This feature is being developed for WhatsApp Business’ Desktop, Android and iOS-based app that it will be available to users in future. In the meantime, the Meta-owned messaging app is also expected to add more features to WhatsApp Premium making it worthwhile for the users. There is no word on pricing yet.

Let’s see how the new updates go.
