The cat was out of the bag when Diljit announced the new single on his Instagram Stories and X (formerly Twitter). “Surprise! @Sia is the one and only Queen. Hass Hass is a brand new tune,” he wrote. Sia also shared the same album artwork, which features both in their respective famous styles. These animated figures are also seen in the music video.

He asked Diljit if he would sing in English since Sia sang in Punjabi, to which the singer had a classic reply.
