The Stars of the show

OTTplay Awards put the spotlight on all of those who have been loved in the last year. From Kajol to Rajkumar Rao, Alia Bhatt and many other Bollywood A-listers won awards for their splendid performances in the OTT world. Darlings, Freddy, and Farzi were some of the OTT gems that received the maximum number of awards. However, our eyes were struck at social media personalities and creators who have disrupted the industry like never before. Presenting, a complete list of social media stars who won big at the OTTplay-

Prajakta Koli

Prajakta Koli, popularly known as “MostlySane,” shone brightly as she was crowned “Creator of the Year.” With her witty humour, relatable content, and knack for connecting with her audience, Prajakta has been a driving force in the world of digital content creation.

Uorfi Javed

Uorfi Javed’s unique sense of style and fashion has earned her the title of “Fashionista of the Year.” Her bold and experimental fashion choices are a paparazzi favourite and have captivated audiences as well as set trends in the world of fashion and beauty.

Rohit Saraf

Rohit Saraf’s charismatic presence on social media has made him the “Most Loved Star on Social Media.” His engaging posts, candid moments, and interaction with his fan base have endeared him to a vast audience.

Yashraj Mukhate

Yashraj Mukhate’s pioneering work in the realm of new media was recognised with the award for “Innovation in New Media.” Yashraj is celebrated for his innovative music compositions, which often blend humour and creativity and go viral within hours of coming to life.

Munawar Faruqui

Munawar Faruqui, a name that has been moving the walls in Bigg Boss house, took centre stage at the OTTplay Awards 2023 as he was titled “Comedian in Spotlight.” Munawar’s humour along with his ability to address complex societal issues through comedy has not only entertained but also sparked meaningful conversations.

A glam affair

Apart from bringing talent to the forefront, the Awards night was truly a glamorous affair. From Bollywood actors such as Karthik Aryan, Kajol Devgn, Alaya F, and Rakul Preet putting their best foot forward, Digital stars also added to the glamour quotient. Our very favourite Prajakta Koli looked like a dream in a gorgeous Black Dress. To add to the fairytale vibes, both Barkha Singh and Ahsaas Channa looked mesmerising in their contemporary gowns.

The boys are also not behind when it comes to fashion. While Yashraj Mukhate opted for a Brown suit along with a printed shirt, Rohit Saraf ditched the traditional suit and went for a modern fit. Munawar Faruqui paired a gorgeous blue suit with a printed shirt and looked dapper.

The OTTpay Awards and the OTTplay Changemakers Awards represent the dynamic and diverse talents that continue to reshape the landscape of digital entertainment in India. This recognition is a testament to their remarkable contributions to the industry and their influence on audiences nationwide.
