Yuvraj Dua: From Instagram To The Big Screen

Instagram Reels as a feature has not only turned around the face of the app but literally given birth to a whole new career of Content Creation. If the content you create is original and authentic to you, that is relatable to people at large, then the chances of catapulting to great levels of success are immensely high. One such success story is of our very own West Delhi Boy: Yuvraj Dua.

From creating super relatable Instagram reels and YouTube videos to coaching Ranveer Singh for his West Delhi accent in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Yuvraj has definitely made it and taken his work to the big screen! Consistency, passion and the sheer joy of creating something unexpected and entertaining makes him stand out.

A content creator has this huge responsibility or pressure rather to constantly create engaging and entertaining content while staying true to themselves and appealing to the masses. Yuvraj seems to have cracked this with his top notch content game. His comic timing is immaculate, making his reels straight-up hilarious. He has the ability to pick a viral Instagram trend and give it his own quirky twist/ rant about it, which is so fresh and unique to watch. And his captions are as good as his posts.

From Cricket To Content

Started working under a sports marketing team as a cricket content writer, Dua initially wished to work as a live cricket feedback reporter. But his love for comedy as a genre and content writing prowess got him thinking. He then decided to give content creation a go as a way of experimenting with his creativity in order to make millions of people laugh. In March 2021, he uploaded his first comedy video and thereafter continued enhancing his content. Yuvraj particularly cares about crafting his content pieces in a way that is relatable and relevant to his audience as that garners major engagement.

‘Theeke? Shabash. Chatakkk’.

Just one word is enough to make you remember Dua: ‘Chatakkk.’ With his famous catchphrase he has created a great brand recall for himself already. Yuvraj almost always spills truth bombs and facts in a comical way in his content, which is 100% relatable. With 692k followers on Instagram and 11.8k subscribers on YouTube, his social media presence has only been growing at an astounding pace. And he made it to India’s Top 100 Digital Stars by Forbes. His content is a mix of fun dance videos, thought-provoking comedy sketches around everyday issues, and inspiring motivational posts that have helped many of his followers overcome challenges in their lives.

His Dharma Moment

Yuvraj has had his chance meetings with Ranveer Singh a couple of times and they made content together as well. But when he was chosen to be a dialect coach for Ranveer in Karan Johar‘s Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, it was beyond a dream-come-true moment for him. He had to teach Ranveer the West Delhi boy accent for his character Rocky in the movie. Dua talks all about his experience in a heartfelt post on his Instagram page on Ranveer’s birthday. He couldn’t stop raining praises for the actor and also expressed his gratitude to Kusha Kapila and Shauna Gautam for making this happen.

Masti-Maja Scenes On YouTube

Yuvraj is also a YouTube entertainer who mainly uploads short comedy videos, travel and family vlogs on his channel. In fact, he started his YouTube channel way before his Instagram journey in 2013. With around 11.8k subscribers and 141 videos, Dua has built himself quite a loyal fanbase.

His Collab Game

Yuvraj doesn’t just create good content but also brings out the best from his collab partners. Whether it’s with influencers or celebrities, you know it’s going to be entertaining and the views say it all.

One of the best comedy creators out there, Yuvraj Dua will definitely continue to soar greater heights of success. We cannot wait to see what’s next in store for him. Chatakkk baby!
