Srikant Tiwari (played by Manoj Bajpayee) is back as ‘The Family Man‘ is coming back on 4th June, 2021 for Season 2!
Amazon Prime Video India on their YouTube channel premiered the trailer of the show’s new installment. Within no time the trailer boomed and as we write this it is trending #1 on YouTube with over 25 million views in just a couple of days!
The Family Man (Season 1) which was first released in September 2019, is a story about the life of Srikant Tiwari a middle class man who also serves as an elite spy for the National Intelligence Agency. The series is about him trying to balance his familial responsibilities while simultaneously protecting the country against cross border or domestic threats.
In the show’s season 2 trailer we see Srikant taking up a desk job and quitting the life of a spy (we still can’t believe out of all the people Srikant taking up a desk job!). While on the other side we see a coalition between the ISI and the rebels. The coalition possesses a threat to the nation which might even put it under attack. With all this going on we see Srikant stepping in again! (hoots and screams) and of course our frustrated Family Man (pun intended) delivers his hilarious anecdotes some of them being *#@*#*# (if you know you know).
We still can’t get over the cliffhanger of season 1 and with season 2 on its way we can only hope that the year long suspense is finally put to rest.
If you haven’t watched the trailer (which you should have by now) don’t worry we’ve got your back.
