There’s sibling love – and then there’s “we share a content calendar and a camera roll” love.
Meet Gurleen & Sukhmani Gambhir – sisters, creators, and the powerhouse duo behind some of Instagram’s most effortlessly stylish, synced, and soul-led content. From desi fits to viral sounds, brand collabs to late-night edits, they do it all – together.

So this Rakshabandhan, we caught up with the Gambhir sisters to chat about growing as creators, fighting (or not), and what it’s like building something bigger than content – a legacy, side by side.
1. Was there ever a moment when you knew you’d become creators together?
Gurleen: Honestly, we never really set out to be creators. Our dream was to be stylists — content creation just happened along the way. But now that we’re in it, we’re fully in it. It’s something we’ve both grown to love.
2. What’s one strength you each bring to the table that helps the ‘Gurleen & Sukhmani’ brand thrive?
Gurleen: For me, it’s easy to say yes to everything – I want to do it all. But Sukhmani is the one who knows when to pause, when to say no, and when to protect our peace. That balance is a huge strength in how we work together.

3. How has being siblings helped (or complicated!) your journey in the influencer world?
Gurleen: It’s helped, for sure. We never have to worry about going to events alone, or finding someone to shoot – we have each other. Yes, there are moments when we compete with one another, but it’s never a complication. We know we’ve got each other’s backs.
4. A campaign or video that really pushed you creatively as a duo?
Both: Definitely our Gajra Gang x Nykaa capsule collection. We got to be part stylists and part creators, curating a festive collection that was bold, desi, and super fun. It was one of those projects where we got to flex every creative muscle – together.

5. What does Rakhi mean to you two – especially as sisters?
Gurleen: For the longest time, it was just the two of us before our brother came along. So Rakhi always felt special – not just about protection, but about being there for each other.
Sukhmani: It’s more than a sibling bond – it’s a friendship we chose. That’s what makes it even more special.
6. If you had to give each other something non-material, what would it be?
Gurleen: For Sukhmani? Easy – a trip to Thailand or Bali. Nothing physical – just quality time, shopping, exploring. That’s what she loves most.

Wrapping It Up…
In an industry that often pits creators against each other, Gurleen and Sukhmani are a reminder that collaboration – especially when rooted in something as strong as sisterhood – is a superpower.
Whether it’s brainstorming ideas over chai, shooting till midnight, or hyping each other up behind the camera – their story is a reminder that sometimes, your biggest win isn’t a viral video. It’s having someone by your side who gets the hustle, the high-pressure deadlines, and the heart behind it all.
This Rakshabandhan, their journey reminds us: when you’re creating with someone who knows you – really knows you – it doesn’t just show in the content. It shows in the connection.
