They shared beautiful snapshots from family photoshoots, as well as intimate moments spent with Callahan in his hospital bed. Describing him as a blessing who brought immense joy to their lives, Laura and David expressed their shattered hearts over the unimaginable loss of their youngest son. Callahan, whom they affectionately called “Cal-Bear,” was adored by his older brothers and brought light to their entire family.
Despite the overwhelming pain, Laura and David find solace in their faith, believing that Callahan is now resting in the arms of Jesus. They humbly requested prayers from their followers, seeking strength and peace to navigate this time of grief.
While the specifics surrounding Callahan’s passing remain unclear, reports from the Frisco Police Department in Texas shed light on the tragic incident while speaking to the People Magazine. As per the statement, Firefighters responded to a distressing call involving a child drowning just days before the heartbreaking announcement.
Callahan’s third birthday, celebrated in October, was marked by joyous moments captured on social media. Laura shared endearing videos of Callahan, clad in pyjamas, gleefully playing with a giant No. 3 balloon, symbolising a milestone that now carries bittersweet memories.
In the wake of Laura’s announcement, an outpouring of love and support flooded in from friends, followers, and fellow influencers. Bachelor Nation’s Raven Gates and podcast hosts Catherine Belknap and Natalie Telfer were among those who expressed their deepest sympathies and offered prayers for comfort and strength.
