KFC Home Flicks Marketing Campaign

KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) is a fast food restaurant chain based in Louisville, Kentucky, that specialises on fried chicken. It is the world’s second-largest restaurant chain, after McDonald’s, and hence the marketing campaigns are as deserving of attention. Whether it’s collaborations with Bollywood celebs like Anil Kapoor or content creators, the advertisements are extravagant and, as a result, are widely publicised. As a result, this article discusses another similar initiative known as ‘KFC Home Flicks,’ and here’s all you need to know about it.

The brand through its instagram page created a hype about the campaign by announcing it on the 13th of June. By organising a contest, they invited everyone to stay tuned for more details on the way they can participate. The caption read, “Stay tuned for the #KFCHomeFlicks contest! Your favourite show or movie + our bucket = full on in-tertainment!”

They, then, uploaded another post on the 15th, announcing the details in order to participate and win a voucher worth 500 rupees. The caption, gave a step-by-step guide for the same. It read, “Time for KFC Home Flicks – bucket & in-tertainment shuru!

➡️ Screenshot a scene from a show or movie

➡️ Add our Home Flicks bucket sticker to it

➡️ Tag @kfcindia_official using #KFCHomeFlicks & upload it on stories

➡️ Win vouchers worth Rs. 500!”

Dolly Singh X KFC Campaign

Dolly Singh uploaded a sponsored series named, ‘If Your Procrastination Were An Aunty’. KFC uploaded it on their page by captioning it as, “We feel you dolly! Work can wait, but hunger for chicken can’t! Who else feels it? Comment below!”

Finally, contestants enter the competitions, and KFC features them in their stories. On their page, a variety of movie footage and screenshots are displayed, demonstrating how far the campaign has spread and continues to do so with each passing day.
