The film, set to begin filming in December, is produced by Realies Pictures, a company known for its impressive cinematic offerings, including Confession, Masquerade, Warriors of the Dawn, and the Along With the Gods action film series.
The story of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint centres around Kim Dokja, played by Ahn Hyo-seop, who finds himself in a world shaped by the novel he’s been reading. The film delves into the events that unfold as he endeavours to save this rapidly changing world. Lee Min-ho will take on the role of Yoo Jung-hyuk, the novel’s protagonist, while Nana portrays Jeong Hee-won. Jisoo is expected to bring life to the character of Lee Ji-hye, a crucial ally to Dokja.
In addition to the leading cast members, the film boasts a talented supporting ensemble, including Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Jeong Seong-il, and Park Ho-san.
The film’s official synopsis, as per MyDramaList, offers a glimpse into the intriguing storyline: “Dokja was an average office worker whose sole interest was reading his favourite web novel, ‘Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse’. However, when the novel suddenly becomes a reality, he becomes the only person who knows how the world will end. Armed with this realisation, Dokja uses his understanding to change the course of the story and the world as he knows it.”

Reports suggest that YG Entertainment released a statement saying, “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is one of the proposed works, and Jisoo is currently considering it.”
