Emojis fill the emotional cues missing in our chat with their vibrant colours and expressions. Who would have thought that Facebook Messenger would take this to another level? On July 15, 2021, the app launched Soundmojis, which are actually emojis that emit voice. Also, World Emoji Day on July 17, 2021, was just around the corner! So, it was a win-win situation!
So, here’s to welcoming Messenger’s latest expression tool!
According to Messenger News, Soundmojis “lets you send short sound clips in a Messenger chat, ranging from clapping 👏, crickets, drumroll, and evil laughter to audio clips from your favorite artists like Rebecca Black and your favorite TV shows and movies like Universal Pictures’ F9, NBC and Universal Television’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Netflix and Shondaland’s Bridgerton.”
Imagine an entire Soundmoji library with new updates of sound bites and effects now and then. Isn’t that just amazing? You can now play with visual emojis as well as sound too. What a combination!
To access Soundmojis, firstly, open any chat in your Messenger app. Then open the expressions menu by tapping on the smiley face and lastly, select the loudspeaker icon. Now, you can preview and send any Soundmojis that you want. Messenger News says, “We love creating fun and innovative features that keep people connected and give them freedom to express themselves.” Without further ado, enjoy the latest upgrade of Messenger, Soundmojis!
