In a series of groundbreaking collaborations, global technology powerhouse NVIDIA has inked strategic partnerships with some of India’s biggest corporate entities, including Reliance Industries and Tata Group. The latest addition to this roster is a leading Indian tech giant, Infosys. Together, Infosys and NVIDIA are set to propel enterprise innovation to new heights through the integration of generative AI applications and solutions.

The cornerstone of this partnership is the amalgamation of NVIDIA’s extensive AI Enterprise ecosystemencompassing models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems – with Infosys’ AI-centric suite of services, solutions, and platforms that use generative AI technologies known as Topaz. By merging these cutting-edge technologies, Infosys endeavors to provide customers with seamless access to the transformative power of generative AI within their businesses.

The companies said this collaboration will extend to digitalization applications, with a focus on developing solutions for enterprise use cases across 3D workflows, design collaboration, digital twin, world simulation, and others. Infosys and NVIDIA are co-developing AI-powered solutions in areas like 5G, cybersecurity, and energy transition.

NVIDIA’s Alliances

With Reliance Jio, NVIDIA will help with end-to-end AI supercomputer technologies including CPU, GPU, networking, and AI operating systems and frameworks for building the AI models, and Jio will manage and maintain the AI cloud infrastructure. With the Tata Group, NVIDIA will help build and process generative AI applications as well as upskill the six lakh-plus employees of TCS in AI. The chip company will work with Tata Motors to deploy AI across design, styling, engineering, simulation testing, and autonomous vehicle capabilities; and also help Tata Communications build AI infra.

This initiative is slated to train and certify a staggering 50,000 of its employees in NVIDIA‘s AI technology, thereby equipping them with the expertise needed to extend generative AI solutions to their expansive clientele spanning various industries. Jensen Huang, the visionary founder and CEO of NVIDIA, emphasized the pivotal role of this expert workforce in propelling business growth through the NVIDIA-Infosys partnership. “Together, NVIDIA and Infosys will create an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions,” stated Huang.
