It’s Friendship Day and we invited the cute BFFs to reveal some of their firsts together in their friendship so far. Check them out:
Kanchi giggled saying, “Rhea doesn’t look that short in her videos, but when I saw her in person, I was surprised by how short she actually is – just like me! It’s rare to find someone shorter than I am, so that was a happy discovery.” Adding to Kanchi’s words, Rhea added, “She dances so well, which was fantastic because it meant I finally had a dance partner. We made a reel together; it was our first collaboration and felt like a perfect start.“
Rhea recalled the scenario, “Our connection became even clearer when we shot a music video together. We both wore matching white T-shirts and denim shorts, and during the second take, we were completely in sync.” Kanchi added, “It’s rare to find someone you can dance with so seamlessly, and that moment confirmed our bond.” It was the first time she knew Rhea was her girl.
Kanchi expressed, “There was a time I had to lie about Rhea’s whereabouts because someone from India was asking where she was, and we were in another country. And I just lied! Blatantly lied! So covering for her was a bit out of character for me, which she’ll probably regret for a long time.” Rhea on the other hand mentioned how much of a ‘good girl’ Kanchi is.
RheChi recalled their first fight while travelling together. Rhea said, “Our first fight happened in Bali over something minor—about a driver and payment. It was a very quick and basic argument, and within minutes, we were back to normal, with me giving her a kiss!“
Kanchi heaved about one heartbreak incident of Rhea saying, “During a phase where she wasn’t quite herself, I had to remind her ‘this is not what you are girl!’, which helped bring her out of it.”
Rhea also described Kanchi’s heartbreak story, “I remember sitting in the car next to her, and she suddenly threw her phone, sat on my lap, and started crying. I’m not great at consoling people, so I was just looking at her, unsure what to do. But it was another bonding moment for us.“
Rhea looked back on her 21st birthday and how Kanchi had made it more special than ever. “The first surprise K ever pulled off for me was on my birthday. She and my other friends showed up at my house in the morning with balloons, gifts, and cupcakes. I had no idea it was happening, and it was incredibly sweet,” she said.
