Lil Tay's death was allegedly faked on Wednesday (9th August) when a post appeared on her account saying she had passed away at the age of 14.

Lil Tay, whose real name is Claire Eileen Qi Hope, was born in 2009 in Canada. She was only 9 years old at the time she started posting.
