Here Are The States That Have Declared 22nd January As A Holiday

In honour of the Pran Pratistha Ceremony & Ram Mandir Inauguration on January 22, the following states have declared half days or holidays for offices  & schools.

Maharashtra

Following the footsteps of the Central Government, the Maharashtra government on Friday announced a public holiday for all the sectors in the state on January 22.

Gujarat

All Gujarat offices & schools will be closed at noon on January 22. A notice about the closure until 2.30 p.m. on January 22 was issued by the state government Thursday night.

Rajasthan

The Rajasthan government declared a half-day off on January 22 for all sectors, including schools & offices. CM Bhajan Lal Sharma announced this at the BJP meeting.

To mark the celebration of the Ram Mandir ceremony, the Chandigarh Union Territory administration on Friday declared a holiday for its offices on January 22.

Asim Sahai, Deputy Secretary of Tripura, has ordered the closure of all government offices and educational institutions across Tripura until 2:30 p.m. on January 22.

Uttrakhand

All government offices in Uttarakhand will remain closed until 2:30 p.m. on Monday, including all educational institutions, the Uttarakhand government announced on Friday.

Following the steps of the central government, the Chief Minister of Puducherry, N Rangasamy, announced January 22 would be a public holiday.

The government of Goa has declared a full holiday for offices, schools, & government officials around the state.
