Kusha Kapila, hailing from New Delhi, India, is an internet celebrity, actress, comedian, influencer, and a fashion editor. She was first introduced by the content platform iDiva as "Billi Massi" and since then, has become an independent creative.
She was born on 19 September 1989, in the North area of Delhi, India. Born to Punjabi parents, she did her schooling in South Delhi.
She did her graduation in English Literature from Indraprastha College for Women, New Delhi. She was quite active in Theatre & did quite a few street plays!
She also has a Bachelor of Design from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi. Her passion for fashion comes from then!
After NIFT, she completed internships at Bhartiya International Limited & Chisell Effects before becoming a fashion correspondent at Apparel Online in Delhi in 2013.
She started as a copywriter at Razorfish Neev in May 2014, made her TV debut on Son of Abish that same year & worked as a fashion editor for Times Internet in 2016.
She became the Head Content Writer at iDiva, where she gained popularity for creating and portraying the fictitious persona, Billi Masi. This made her viral!
She began acting in recent years, including Ghost Stories & Masaba Masaba on Netflix, Behensplaining on Netflix India's YouTube, and LOL: Hasse Toh Phasse on Amazon Prime.
She also co-hosted Comicstaan season 3, was a jury member on Koffee with Karan season 7, and appeared in Case Toh Banta Hai on Amazon MiniTV.
She has been featured on the covers of Harper's Bazaar India, Hindustan Times HT Brunch, and Cosmopolitan and was listed in Forbes India's W-Power list in 2022.
