Johnny Depp's daughter makes her debut as Jocelyn, a glamorous pop star entangled in the dark side of the music industry and captivated by Tedros.

The Plot

A troubled pop star, Jocelyn, seeks to revive her career with the help of Tedros, a mysterious nightclub owner, but risks losing herself in the process.

Grand Release

Ahead of the series’ June 4 premiere on HBO, they had a grand premiere at Cannes Film Festival, receiving mixed reviews from critics.

They faced allegations of on-set toxicity, which were denied, and underwent a major overhaul before airing. Levinson directed the second version at Weeknd's request.

Poorly Received

The critics commented on the series' controversial amount of sex, some even deeming it a 'luxury sleaze'. Many felt the first episode was 'kinky yet empty'.
