From Macarons to Mumbai’s Newest Parisian Cafe! Meet Pooja Dhingra the pastry chef bringing fresh French flavour to Fort, Mumbai.

Pooja grew up in Mumbai where her love for baking began with her aunt in the kitchen.

She first joined law school but soon realised baking was her true passion.

Pooja went on to study hospitality in Switzerland and earned a patisserie diploma at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.

In Paris she tasted her first macaron and was instantly inspired to bring that magic back home.

In 2010 Pooja opened Le15 Patisserie in Mumbai the first store in India focused on macarons and French desserts.

Her bakery quickly became famous and she was featured on Forbes India’s 30 under 30 list for her success as a chef and entrepreneur.

She later opened Le15 Café in Colaba which became a local favourite before closing during the pandemic.

Now Pooja is back with a fresh cafe called Pardon Our French in Ballard Estate Fort, Mumbai with a Parisian ambience and relaxed vibe.
