Twitter leans towards emerging video trends

According to Twitter Official blogs, videos are one of the most interesting ways people can express themselves online and are a significant part of public discourse.

In fact, videos posted on Twitter get billions of views when combined.

Twitter is now introducing two new changes to how a user can view videos on Twitter starting today to help make it simpler to locate and watch what’s happening.

Here’s a brief overview given by twitter of what to anticipate and how to use them:

Immersive viewing and easy discovery

You can easily access the full, immersive viewing experience with Twitter’s updated immersive media viewer, which automatically expands videos to full screen with just one click. Simply tap or click on a video in the Twitter app to activate it.

We’ve also made it simpler to find videos once they’ve been launched in full-screen mode. To start viewing more interesting video content, simply scroll up.

Click the back arrow in the top left corner to leave the viewer and return to the original Tweet.

Showing more videos in Explore

Welcome to Twitter’s newest addition to the Explore tab.

You can now quickly find additional videos you like along with Tweets and Trends that might be of interest to you thanks to our new video carousel.

Simply click the Explore tab to find some of the most widely shared videos on Twitter.

Making Twitter the best place for video
