British Diver, Thomas Robert Daley a.k.a Tom Daley is an Olympics Gold Medalist and double World Champion at FINA, five-time European & four-time Commonwealth Champion. He has always been in the headlines due to his diving skills, but this time it’s all because of his knitting ability! During the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Tom was seen knitting sitting in the stands. Not only is he breaking gender stereotypes, but also proving knitting as a therapeutic medium through his words.

To show his amazing skills at knitting and crocheting, Daley has a separate profile on Instagram, @madewithlovebytomdaley with 1.1 million followers. I’ve to say, his creations are pure perfection! Damn, isn’t his page the cutest?

Did you just see? It’s so adorable to see him treasure his Olympics Gold medal and even knitting a medal case for it! Who doesn’t want such a tiny li’l pouch? Well, I definitely do! In the video, Tom expresses how knitting and crocheting kept him sane and has acted as a relief buster from all the ongoing stress. Not only that, he even made a special Olympic cardigan!

Here’s what he wrote on his Instagram post, “When I got to Tokyo, I wanted to make something that would remind me of these games. Something that I could say I had made in Tokyo, during the Olympics! I did a @teamgb logo on the back, with a flag and GBR on the shoulders and Tokyo embroidered onto the front!”

Awwww man, how can we not love this guy whose eyes reflect such sheer happiness? Clearly, he’s trending for all the right reasons! Putting in such efforts and creating such masterpieces just feels so wholesome! Well, that’s not all. He’s also raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity! Apparently, it’s “The world’s leading brain tumour charity & the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumour globally”, according to the page’s Instagram bio.
