Mismatched Season 2

It’s the world of coffee lovers and those who spill it on each other and we are just living in here. Oops! DIf you got the reference, you need to know that season 2 of this show is now out and you need to check it out.

Based on Sandhya Menon’s 2017 novel When Dimple Met Rishi, Mismatched is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age romance drama web series available on Netflix. It was adapted by Gazal Dhaliwal, and Akarsh Khurana. RSVP Movies, owned by Ronnie Screwvala, produced it. The Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf-led series centers on Rishi, a traditionalist romantic who falls in love with gamer Dimple and finally wants to wed her.

The show is now streaming on Netflix.

Dobaaraa

Officially, Dobaaraa is a remake of the 2018 Spanish movie Mirage. It premiered at the London Indian Film Festival in 2022 and was released in theatres on August 19, 2022. By connecting over the television during a similar storm in the present, a woman has the chance to save the life of a 12-year-old child who saw a death during a thunderstorm that occurred 25 years before.

Laal Singh Chaddha

Another special remake is Laal Singh Chaddha.

Advait Chandan is the director of the comedy-drama Laal Singh Chaddha, which was written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. It is a remake of the 1994 American movie Forrest Gump, which was based on Winston Groom’s novel of the same name. It was made by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Together with Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh, Aamir Khan plays the title role in the movie. Over the course of two decades, the Forrest Gump adaption underwent many alterations.

This movie was released in theaters two weeks earlier it was made available on the OTT platform Netflix.

Catherine called Birdy

Based on Karen Cushman’s 1994 novel of the same name, Catherine Called Birdy is a 2022 comedy-drama film written and directed by Lena Dunham. Along with Billie Piper, Andrew Scott, Lesley Sharp, Joe Alwyn, and Sophie Okonedo, Bella Ramsey plays the titular role in the film.
On September 12, 2022, it had its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Prior to being streamed on Prime Video on October 7, 2022, it was made available in a limited release on September 23, 2022, by Amazon Studios.
