In Jasleen Royal’s voice, ‘Sang Rahiyo’ was released on September 10, 2020. Featuring Ranveer Allahbadia a.k.a BeerBiceps, the music video received over 19 million views and 325K likes on YouTube. The song is about love and hope.
As stated on Jasleen’s YouTube channel, “Love always finds its way back home, as long as we have the courage to love. This song talks about hope in little gestures of love, it is one of those that makes us sit on our window sills with a hot brew of coffee and watch the rain pour down the sky till the stars come up, and you play it back again.”
2. Befikar
‘Befikar’, the song about young love is sung by Tanzeel Khan. Premiered on August 31, 2020, the music video features Aashna Hegde. It has gained over 8 million views and 401K likes on YouTube.
Here’s what’s written on Tanzeel’s YouTube channel, “This song depicts young love, love that has no bounds! A song that’ll make you feel all the emotions, that’ll make you dance your heart away! 3. Dooriyan
Released on June 9, 2020, ‘Dooriyan’ by Zaeden is about the distance in relationships. Starring Aashna Hegde, the song has achieved over 6 million views and158K likes on YouTube. Apart from performing, Zaeden penned down the lyrics too.
Quoting Zaeden’s YouTube channel, ‘Dooriyan’ “is closely inspired by the current social distancing norms, and how the situation affects all the relationships around. While it’s been a tumultuous time for everyone, this song brings hope that we all will carry on and find ways to be one another.”
4. Maula Ya Salli
‘Mauli Ya Salli’ is Tanzeel Khan’s version of Naat. It premiered on May 24, 2020, and has accumulated over 1 million views and 127K likes till now on YouTube.
Tanzeel expressed on YouTube, “Hey guys, so as we all know, #Eid this year is not gonna be like every other year, every festival for that matter🥺. So here’s a cover of a naat that I used to hear since I was 8 years old… this naat/song has helped me reduce anxiety, helped me sleep and has always given me a positive vibe. Which I thought a lot of us could do with at this time. Thought of making a cover of this when I saw Muza’a video . 5. Tu Aake Dekhle
King’s one of the most popular songs ‘Tu Aake Dekhle’ has been sung, written, and composed by him. Premiered on September 1, 2020, the song has over 111 million views and 2.5 million likes on YouTube.
6. Tajurba
‘Tajurba’, a soulful song in Gurnazar’s voice was also penned down and composed by him. Released on March 11, 2020, the song has gained over 2 million views and 76K likes on YouTube.
7. Aatishbaazi
In Jubin Nautiyal’s melodious voice, ‘Aatishbaazi’, the official soundtrack of the Hollywood movie ‘Initiation’ was premiered on August 12, 2020. Currently, it has 11 million views and 75K likes. This song also has its English version ‘Breaking the Rules’, sung by Nautiyal himself.
