Clubhouse is an invite-only audio-based app for networking and topic discussion. To become a user, you will first need an invitation inside the application, after which you will be asked to select topics that interest you. After that, it will prompt you to sync your contacts and allow you to follow others who share your interests. This app has a lot of well-known people from many industries on it, and it gives you the same opportunity to communicate with them and grow from the experience. “No matter what anyone tells you, words and ideas can change the world,” says Keating from Dead Poets Society. And, we agree.

The more people you follow, the more rooms of topics you have to choose from in the hallway. Everyone, with or without a room, can start it, and anyone who follows them will receive an alert. You can also start a group host room with many people as a part of that group. Anyone who joins the group will be notified anytime you host a room under the group’s umbrella. Additionally, I consider networking to be the most essential aspect of one’s professional life. It’s like a link, and you never know when you’ll have access to it in your life.

Unless you are the moderator, you enter as a listener when you enter a room. You can ‘Raise Hand’ to indicate that you want to talk, and the moderator may then add you to the speaker’s panel. If someone who has been added to the speaker’s panel also follows you, you will be added to the ‘Followed by the Speakers’ panel, but solely as a listener. You may wish to silently engage in the discussion or to share your personal experience, demonstrate your abilities, or play a game surrounding the topic being discussed. Clubhouse is democratic, allowing you to make your own decisions based on your preferences.

Clubhouse provides a space for anything, including playing games for fun, having in-depth conversations to learn from personal experiences, hearing different opinions to broaden your horizons, listening to musicians sing to create a virtual concert atmosphere, and much more. So, till my pen writes more for you, don’t forget to check it out by requesting any user you know for an invitation.
