Netflix releases the official trailer of ‘Army of Thieves’ movie. It is the prequel to the ‘Army of the Dead’. Released on 26th of July, it already has more than a million views. What does this romantic comedy-heist film entail? Let’s find out, shall we?
More heist than zombies and mystery, 6 years before the main film, this movie entails the beginning of safe-cracking. The trailer follows a mysterious woman, spotted in Fast and Furious and Game of Thrones, Nathalie Emmanuel as Gwendoline approaching Matthias Schweighöfer playing the character of Ludwig Dieter. As the world is distracted by zombies, she asks Dieter to get his hands on “an only chance for a life less ordinary” to crack safes across Europe.
Netflix describes the synopsis as, “In this prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe”. Witness a glimpse of the army before the dead, this fall through this trailer with a single tap!
It gave me chills and excitement to get my hands on it as soon as it releases. Releasing in the later 2021 only on Netflix, make sure this is on your watchlist, too! “This is about becoming legends,” says Gwendoline and we second that.
