“MAGGI Apna Food Business” – An Initiative To Empower Home Cooks

MAGGI has decided to turn kitchen dreams into reality with its new campaign ‘Apna Food Business 2023’. In a bid to encourage culinary enthusiasts to start their own online food channel, the noodle company has launched the campaign in collaboration with India Food Network (IFN), an online portal for cooking lessons.

The brand recognises that for many, the kitchen is not just a place to cook, but a space brimming with aspirations and ambitions. It is offering a golden opportunity for individuals to receive professional training from chefs and food influencers like Kabita Singh, Teja Paruchuri and Tanhisikha Mukherjee, among others. This unique initiative aims to empower aspiring chefs with the ability to transition from the kitchen to the online world. Their campaign tagline ‘Apni recipes ko layein rasoi se screen take,’ says it all.

With the ‘Apna Food Business 2023’ campaign, MAGGI is re-initiating its food entrepreneurship program. The brand launched a similar campaign called ‘Desh Ke Liye 2 Minute– Ek Chhoti Si Koshish’ in partnership with IFN in 2020. While the COVID pandemic-induced lockdowns put an end to the entrepreneurial dreams of many, it also brought to light how home chefs across India rose to the occasion with their culinary skills. Under this program, they supported home chefs with food business guides, mentorship and training, kitchen and studio setup, and Rs 5 lakh financial support.

The brand is pleased to announce the latest instalment of its distinctive program, ‘MAGGI Apna Food Business.’ In India, many individuals with exceptional culinary skills aspire to venture into content creation. However, they often lack the necessary direction, expertise, and resources to initiate their online food channels. MAGGI Apna Food Business is crafted to provide the initial support required to transform their aspirations into reality.

This edition marks a significant stride as MAGGI endeavours to support emerging home cooks throughout the nation. MAGGI seeks to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive as successful culinary content creators. The winners stand a chance to secure Rs 5 lakhs in seed capital, which can help establish their own online food channels.
