According to LinkedIn Official Blog, they have rolled out a new Reaction on LinkedIn, with ‘Funny’ being added to the six other emoji response options on LinkedIn posts.
App researcher Nima Owji claims, as seen in the tweet below, that the social network, known for being a platform aimed at the corporate and more serious scope, is about to launch a new way for its users to express themselves in posts through the “laugh” emoji.
It is coming and giving you a simple way to express that a LinkedIn post has ‘made you laugh, felt humorous, or offered light-hearted fun in a professional context.
For context, the funny reaction has been a highly requested feature.
Celebrate – Expresses that you’re celebrating an announcement, congratulating a personal or professional milestone, or praising an accomplishment. For example:
Support – Expresses that you empathize with someone’s experience or support them during a challenging time. For example:
Funny – Expresses that the post made you laugh, felt humorous, or offered light-hearted fun in a professional context.
