Abhishek Singh, the IAS/Deputy Commissioner of Delhi, turned actor recently launched ‘United by Blood’, a website that directly connects Plasma Donors to Plasma Recipients. With this noble initiative, Abhishek is once again winning hearts, more than before. Normally, Plasma Donors do not know about to whom they’re donating, but with this portal, it’s going to be a unique experience for the donors since they can easily get connected with the recipient, and vice-versa.

When he talked about seeing the happy smile of the recipients, which donors usually don’t get to see, but with #UnitedByBlood, they will receive that satisfaction, that touched my heart. “As human beings, we’re divided by so many things. We’re divided by countries, nationalities, religion, region, caste, taste, fashion, culture, age, gender. But one thing that unites us is blood.”, with this statement, he pointed out the main root that separates and unites us in the true sense.

Gurnazar Chattha dedicated this song to #UnitedByBlood, requesting “corona warriors” to donate plasma. It has only one message that we as human beings can only rely on each other.

In support of this, people are already making reels and this is helping in spreading the initiative towards the ones in need. Indian film writer and director, Milind Gadagkar, actress Amyra Dastur, and Badshah all are assisting it by sharing on Instagram.

CEO and Co-founder of Ease My Trip, Nishant Pitti has also come forward and confirmed that they’re joining hands with United by Blood.

This is not the only time Abhishek has taken such a philanthropic effort. Previously, on the SIGMA project, Cabinet Minister and Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog, Rajiv Kumar has also appreciated his endeavour.

Except for doing societal aid, he has also dabbled in acting. From acting in the short film ‘Chaar Pandrah’, Netflix’s ‘Delhi Crime 2’ to featuring in Jubin Nautiyal’s song ‘Tujhe Bhoolna Toh Chaaha’, and Bhushan Kumar’s ‘Dil Tod Ke’ by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, he has aced it all. As he had already stated, “So, let’s get united. Let’s get united by blood. Let’s help each other.” With this unity, we can tackle these harsh times together.
