The wedding season is in full force and this time it took comedy creator Harshita Gupta in its tide. She has created plenty of million-view videos around weddings, marriage and the institution but her Wedding Day surpasses every viral video there is to have ever existed. Smiling, giggling, dancing and most importantly eating, Harshita Gupta and Shrey Chhabra, said their vows to each other in a beautiful ceremony, surrounded by her family and friends.
Harshita Gupta, popularly known by her Instagram username Soharshi is a comedy creator who makes hilarious observational reels. While all her reels are funny, her reels around love especially her father giving her advice about love and relationship are a cult favourite. From motivating singles to embrace single-hood, she was not less than a messiah until she hard launched her beau to her social media fam. On the other hand, Shrey Chhabra is a film-maker known for his creative approach.
Harshita and Shrey took social media by storm when they shared their proposal pictures on their Instagram a few weeks back. In pantsuits, both Harshita and Shrey looked every bit glamorous and the gorgeous beach was a paid actor.
However, something that stole our hearts was the little story, their photographer, wedontsaycheese shared. While Harshita Gupta oblivious to the proposal was leashing out her favourite poses and suddenly Shrey Chhabra asked her the big questions. Amidst tears and smiles, Harshita said YES! The moment shared through the video is so beautiful, that we cannot stop watching it over and over again.
As if the photos from the proposal were not enough to cement their sizzling chemistry, the duo have shared a series of photos from their shoot. The steamy photos are enough to put the world on fire. Along with the photos, they also shared a compilation of BTS videos from the shoot, which made us immediately say “Nazar na lage!” This video was a formal introduction of Shrey Chhabra on Harshita’s Instagram after her birthday post from Shrey. However, their smiles and the love in their eyes, make it difficult to talk about anything else.
Even though Harshita and Shrey have not shared any pictures from their wedding, their friends have shared plenty of them. (Thank God for friends!) To say the least, their wedding was nothing less than a blockbuster movie. Filled with love and laughter, the celebrations were truly a delight to our eyes and hearts.
Both the Groom and the Bride looked stunning throughout their wedding. Picking out favourites is a rather impossible task but we will do it for you. We absolutely loved Harshita’s Cocktail Saree, which looked perfect! Adding a modern glam to the saree, Harshita definitely stole the show.
If anything ever could have topped Harshita’s glamour saree look, it was her traditional Red lehenga that she donned for her wedding day. Pairing the beautiful lehenga with gorgeous traditional jewellery, she looked nothing less than a dream.
Shrey Chhabra on the other hand, opted for more Classical silhouettes with his own dapper twists. From Tuxedo to Sherwani, the embellishments on his outfits have our hearts. Nothing less, nothing more, they were just the perfect recipe to look handsome.
The entire wedding of Harshita and Shrey seems like the perfect celebration of love and companionship. However, Sanyam Sharma AKA Sharmajikabadabeta stole the show with his reel. Many times Harshita and Sanyam have created content together where he played Harshita’s guy best friend who secretly loves her.
When it was time for the real wedding, how could the two miss this golden ticket? While Harshita and Shrey dazzled at their reception with all the limelight pouring on them, Sanyam was pushed away from the couch by Shrey. Later Sanyam replicates the famous Ranbir Kapoor walk from Channa Mereya.
This hilarious reel has taken the internet by its horns and has more than 18 million views. With 1 million likes, this reel proves that it was one of the most anticipated aspects of the wedding.
