Dr Anjali Kumar’s a gynaecologist, surgeon, an ex-army officer and a Yoga teacher. Many of us also discovered her because she is Sejal Kumar, the fashion influencer’s mother. Her page is known to be the safe space for all women to not only acquire information but also gain knowledge. Her YouTube channel, Maitri, covers series on various topics from menstruation, gynaecologic infection, pregnancy, breast, PCOD to female health products, Q&As, and more.

Ah, what a busy day, wasn’t it? To work 12 hours every day and be available any second for her patients by sacrificing her own schedules, she deserves a lot of respect and honour. And, so do doctors. I hope that the next time we visit a doctor, we show them the much deserved respect and gratitude for their work.
