Disney+Hotstar says goodbye to ads with QUIX

India’s largest video on demand streaming platform Disney+Hotstar announces a new addition to its domain called ‘QUIX

Quix is a free to watch short video category created to provide entertainment to viewers during ad breaks or office breaks. By launching Quix Disney+Hotstar aims to retain the audience traffic. Viewers generally tend to leave the app during an ad break, but through Quix the platform feels that by using the new feature the viewers will stay on the app, skip ads and get entertained by the same.

As per the content being put out, Disney+Hotstar is eyeing daily short episodes restricted to 12minutes in length. Not much is known about the genres of shows being put out but one can only estimate that Disney + Hotstar plans to cover an extensive variety soothing to the likes of its viewers. Only time will tell how successful this addition is until then HAPPY WATCHING!
