Tiktokers turned influencers Surabhi Mehra and Samriddhi Mehra, popularly known as Chinki Minki have made their way through social media smoothly after their fame with their viral videos. The twins started by posting their videos on TikTok in 2016 where they amassed significantly lesser views. After which, they got an invitation to perform in The Kapil Sharma Show, which airs on Sony TV in 2019.
It is touted that post the duo’s TV debut, they became famous as ‘Chinki Minki’ and their videos were seen everywhere. After their popularity, they started emerging on other shows like awards and other shows. They recently made it to hoardings around the city, as they’re now the brand ambassadors of Wai Wai noodles.
With 10.4 million followers on Instagram, Chinki-Minki post regularly and are usually seen posting engaging and trending content.
The twin sisters are not only making heads turn over TV and Instagram reels but are also active on YouTube. The popular Instagrammers ensure to differentiate their content according to specific platforms. With a subscriber count of almost 3 million subscribers, the Mehra sisters post Twinterviews which is the name of the interview videos.
They post YouTube shorts that are different than their regular content on Instagram. Another notable trait about the sisters is that when they make a trending video, it has a touch of ‘uniqueness’ which makes it interesting. They have been working with the Indian video-making app MOJ and they create content there too. They are close to 3 million followers and have over 21 million likes on the app.
