Jalsa

The plot of the story starring Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah revolves around a hit-and-run case that is extremely complicated. It leaves some people, including a journalist, a cop, a mother and the complete justice system grappled in different circumstances where they could not differentiate between right and wrong. The film has been directed by actor-director Suresh Triveni, who had earlier helmed Vidya-starred Tumhari Sulu. The film is out on Amazon Prime Video.

Roohaniyat

A romantic mystery drama featuring popular television actors such as Aman Verma, Arjun Bijlani, Smita Bansal and Kanika Mann in key roles, Roohaniyat is currently streaming on MX Player. The series attempts to find an answer to the question – whether love exists forever. An unusual love story with multiple twists and turns, triggered by a secret between two partners. The series was released on March 23.

Detective Boomrah

In Ropam Haveli, a heritage hotel in Rajasthan, a fierce looking man appears mysteriously out of nowhere in a locked room. When confronted, he runs to the roof of the Haveli and jumps from it to vanish into thin air. To crack the mystery of this missing man, Detective Boomrah and his partner Sam are called to the hotel where they get entangled in a web of unseen mysteries.

The creator of character Detective Boomrah, Sudhanshu Rai has played the role himself while the cast includes Raghav Jhingran, Shobhit Sujay, Abhishek Sonpaliya and Manisha Rai, among others. It is streaming on MX Player.

Dune

An epic science fiction film based on a novel with the same name published in 1965, Dune stars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Oscar Isaac, among others. The film that won the most awards at the 94th edition of the Academy Awards is about a gifted yong man who is brilliant. However, the situation compels him to embark on a journey to the most dangerous planet for ensuring the wellbeing of his people and family. The film is available on Amazon Prime video.

Deep Water

A psychological thriller directed by Adrian Lyne, Deep Water is the story of a man who allows his wife to have affairs so that divorce could be avoided. He eventually becomes a prime suspect in a case pertaining to the disappearances of his wife’s lovers. The film stars Ana de Armas, Ben Affleck, Jacob Elordi, Rachel Blanchard and Finn Wittrock, among others.
