One of the things that has picked its pace in this digital boom is live streaming. 2021 has seen scores of live streams happen across our country and a lot of them have been for a common cause i.e. Covid Relief. Earlier this year we saw All for One on Insider.in (Click Here to know more) and also Show Up for India which premiered on Tanmay Bhat and Samay Raina’s channel (more about that Here). The entire proceedings were donated to charitable organisations who would then use those funds to help the needy.
Joining the era of live streams is none other than one of the most popular Indian singers Arijit Singh. Arijit on his Instagram announced that he will be partnering with GiveIndia under the #SocialForGood initiative and will be going live on his Facebook page on Sunday, 6th June 2021 at 8pm IST for HELPING RURAL INDIA BREATHE AND STAY SAFE. Arijit in his Instagram post wrote, “Let us come together as one community. Join me in an evening filled with music and the spirit of togetherness. To help those who really need it. No one is safe till everyone is…This Sunday – 6th June 8.00 PM on my Facebook page“
Arijit will be singing live from his village in Murshidabad. He even appealed to everyone to join him for the cause and donate.
