To access Amazon miniTV on the Amazon app(android), users simply need to scroll down and tap on the miniTV screen, they will then be redirected to the streaming section. Another way is to simply search Amazon miniTV on the app and click on the miniTV banner located above the search bar. The streaming section in itself has its own user friendly interface with tabs available for each genre of interest. It even has parental control for restricting videos.

With this new release, Amazon miniTV aims to provide creators with another platform to put their content on. Amazon has already roped in renowned creators from fields of comedy, fashion and cooking to offer “professionally created and curated content.” As per reports “It has partnered with studios such as TVF, Pocket Aces, and comedians including Ashish Chanchlani, Amit Bhadana, Round2Hell, Harsh Beniwal, Shruti Arjun Anand, Elvish Yadav, Prajakta Koli, and more. Amazon miniTV will showcase tech videos from Trakin Tech, fashion and beauty videos from Sejal Kumar, Malvika Sitlani, and Jovita George. It will also feature food videos from Kabita’s Kitchen, Cook with Nisha, and Gobble.”

In times to come Amazon also plans to add exclusive shows to this service. But unlike its subscription based streaming service ‘Prime Video’, Amazon miniTV is completely free to watch but for the time being only on android.
